It’s being reported that Karim’s on again/off again girlfriend Chloe gave birth to their daughter, Melia yesterday and that he was present. He was right back in training today though. UPDATED: The baby was born in Madrid.
Here’s some pictures of Karim and the obviously pregnant Chloe from August in Madrid. They’ve been in my “big pile of things to post” and I never got around to it. Sigh. Anyhow, Melia is here and I’m looking forward to seeing the little woobins. Mazel tov!
Let’s hope having the responsibility of a child calms Karim down a bit. Fingers crossed, eh? I’m now awaiting his first thumb sucking goal celebration – hopefully tomorrow!

Congrats, Chloe and Karim! I think we are optimists for hoping this changes Benz, but well… fingers crossed. Frankly, I don’t think they’re even really together again (where is cousin Sarah?) but have probably agreed to co-parent. Anyhow, I’m betting Melia is going to be a looker. Hopefully, she’s inherited Karim’s eyelashes. 😉

Dear Karim, babies do need furniture, especially pinewood cribs made by dovetailing the corners without using nails, just like all good Amish father make for their babies!
