Lotsa Bits & Bobs

My oh my, much going on but we’re all still reeling from The Ramos and his new hair, so I’ve dragged myself out of mourning just long enough to put together a post. I have to catch up on the all the La Roja stuff, but that’s going to need to be later. Great news! Marcelo is on Webstagram! He’s posting lots of great pictures. Here are just a few.

He’s posting quite a bit. Perhaps he’ll eventually get on Twitter, which would be lovely.

The Baby posted a cute little picture after the France U21 game. He looks like he’s having a good time on international duty.

Might you have a few moments to spare for another hot smiling Frenchman? I thought you might.

Good lord, that man is positively biteable. I have such a thing for his nose, it’s not even funny and when he has snarly lip working,  it’s even worse for me. I think he’s getting even better looking over time. He’s less scared French bunny and more man in charge. Me gusta.

Iker has been in a bit of a posting frenzy as well lately. He’s had a bunch of shots up on his Facebook page. I love this one of Silva and Santi. Dazorla, maybe?

I love this picture of Iker and Pepe in particular if only because of the awful Bing translation.

This last picture was very sweet. Iker’s (Bing translated) comments are after the shot.

This is one of the reasons I love Iker. He always remembers where he came from and he’s always grateful to the people who helped him on the way up. What a classy, sweet, humble guy!

On Iker’s Facebook, there’s a new Phillips app that allows you to choose his “look” for the Euros.

Which look do you fancy? It’s hard because there’s much to recommend each Iker look, isn’t there?

Sergio, who we’re kinda not speaking to at the moment, had a spiffy little Sernando moment (back when he had hair) and I love how he’s telling Nando to get his arse over to him WHERE HE BELONGS. Nando, of course, obliges.

And here’s Sergio playing with his hair during the China match. I laughed at the time about how he was preening, but was he thinking even then of the chop?

The luscious Nagore Aranburu tweeted a picture of her hubby on the cover of El Mundo. Quite frankly, I find the cover shot terrifying.

The inner shot was much better. Unamadridista posted a translation of the interview over on Con La Roja and it’s a good read.

Official Hot Brother Mikel Alonso tweeted a link to this great photo collection of kids playing footy all over the world which was over on Who Ate All The Pies. I love that he reads Waat Pies!  The hot brothers, they’re just like us! Also on Pies was one of the best Shit Lookalikes ever. I’m not going to spoil it for you, just click especially if you’re a Germany fan. I laughed for 5 minutes straight.

La Roja did some dancing machine action that I can’t even begin to understand. How about you?

Oooookay, gentlemen. ::slowly backs away::  (Thanks to hailsaniker for those!) Sergio did tweet a normal photo of him and Jesus on a plane.

And Fuck Yeah Sernando discovered that in addition to matching shirts, Nando & Sergio have matching kicks or you know, they’re sharing stuff.

One more Sernando moment. The two of them laughing. Back in the hair days (aka over the weekend).

That child is the epitome of “nom nom nom.” I can’t get over this adorable woobins!

And one other cute bebe to share. Which famous ‘baller tweeted this adorbs picture of himself? Hint: He’s batshit and plays for Chelsea.

Another project is Howler Magazine, which is a soccer quarterly for the discerning North American soccer fan. It covers the global game and looks fantastic. I’ve contributed to this as well and really look forward to it. You can get on their mailing list at the first link and pony up some of your hard earned cash at their Kickstarter (and see a video about them) at the second.

How’s about some sultry Benz and Ozil to end this post? I think either of those things never go unwelcome.
