Bits & Bobs: Now We’re Cooking With Sass And Extra Added Peen, Apparently.

Sese tweeted a shot of himself cooking and said that he enjoyed his day on his friend’s farm. *I* enjoyed these half naked shots of him on the beach in Ibiza.

Also in Ibiza was David Villa and his family.  Don’t know if she’s preggers or not but it looks like she’s chugging water, so again, no confirmation on if there will be another perfect bitchfacin’ baby soon.

The most surprising sitch all up in Ibiza was Xavi Hernandez was there. With a girl. Now granted, they’re not really interacting. Their lounge chairs are just next to each other. Doesn’t mean they’re a couple. But if they are, my guess is that she’s the heiress to a lawn care empire. Because that would make them soul mates.

We’ll have to keep our eyes on this situation! His teammate and friend Cesc was not suffering in Sardinia with girlfriend Daniella. He posted this shot while he was waiting for her to leave her spa treatment.

Kickette found a picture of them with the kids for a change, which is awesome. I guess she just likes to keep her kids out of the spotlight. Fair enough. But this might cut down on all the snarky remarks people seem to make about “Where are her children?” Answer: Right there, apparently.

Looking at his instagram feed turned up a couple of interesting things. First, this piccy of Cesc & Nadal.

Then this shot of him and Daniella. She looks super pretty in this shot.  Much less hard than in some of the other shots I’ve seen. The snaps all over Instagram looked the same.  Pretty lady. They might give Romina & Guti a run for their money on the nauseating schmoopiness though. It was all “I love you!” “No, I love you more!”

However, the shot that made me laugh out loud was this shot of Cesc poking poor Jordi Alba in the eye and the caption he put up.

Oh Cesc! ::shakes head:: That’s so…sensitive. I’m sure Jordi was touched by the sentiment. It brought a tear to his eye. ::rimshot::  Thanks! I’ll be here all week! Enjoy the chicken and don’t forget to tip the wait staff!

Meanwhile, at a location listed only as “somewhere” Xabi relaxed on the beach. His last known locale was Bali.

El Pirata continued being awesome and visited with the folks at the Centro de Día para Discapacitados APAM. He said there were many Madridistas!

Marcelo gave us a presser shot and two scenery shots that made me green with envy.

Carol Celico raised the stakes by posting a shot of her home town of Sao Paulo and little Isabella with a tennis racket almost as large as she is.

I really need to get to Brazil – it looks amazing. 2014 seems like a good time to go. I was talking to watishista Allison and we’re thinking of planning a group trip for the World Cup. Me, Shigs, ginboonmiller are already in on it and as more deets become available, Allison has offered to coordinate. That would be so cool. Start saving your pennies!

Here’s a few other things that caught my eye today. First off, I was completely howling at the major faux pas that the EPL made. For their player picture of Vinny Samways, they unfortunately chose the moment of Warren Barton’s tackle on him which was, erm, revealing.

After just about the entire population of Twitter nearly peed their pants laughing in a severe moment of Beavis and Buttheadedness, they managed to take it down. This is what is there now.

Boooo! What is it with all the peen we’ve seen this week? My gosh! We had Mario Gotze all large and in charge twice and now this. I’m sure there will be another “accidental” peen sighting unless these things come in threes (shut up!) and then we’re done. We’ll have fulfilled our peen quotient.

The bans were lifted on Mou, Tito Vilanova, Mesut, Marcelo and Villa so they can all participate in the Supercopa. The dates for that have changed. Here are the new ones:

Thursday, August 23 – Camp Nou
Thursday, August 30 – Santiago Bernabéu

And here’s Messi’s new Adidas My Formula video. It’s pretty neat. I’m sure this is probably the start of a series with various players. I like the sentiment though – hard work is what makes great players and it doesn’t happen overnight.

This is a great video from the Adidas tumblr about the Euros.
