The Daily Drool – Epic Bromance Month: Benjamin Stambouli/Remy Cabella

10 Dec

remy-cabella-benjamin-stambouli-2012-5-16-2-45-47Oh I love these two so much! These adorable boys (Stromboli & Meow as I fondly call them) play for Montpellier in Ligue 1. They also play together on the French U23 team. They endlessly post pictures of each other on Twitter while Benji seems to have a penchant for carrying tiny Remy on his shoulders. Check out their stripped to the skivvies celebration when their team won the league last year. Continue reading

Prepare for an epic two part Bits & Bobs! First up the social media mad Brazilians who posted tons of pictures. Kaka, David Luiz, Neymar and Marcelo led the charge. Kaka seems to be really happy to be back on the squad and is celebrating by getting Neymar in a headlock. (Be scared, Neymar, be very scared!) Look how big and burly Kaka is next to him. So, so tired after last night’s match. I’ll have pictures and whatnot to put up here, but not until after the weekend. I have an old friend visiting from out of town tonight and tomorrow, I’m off to Philly. See this picture? It was taken about 15 feet from where our seats were. Where were Shigs & I at the time? The Daily Drool: Benjamin Stambouli

25 Feb

Meet my new crush, French Muppet Baby Benjamin, who is a defender for Ligue 1 side Montpellier HSC. Why the hell don’t I watch more French footy? Ah, right, because I can’t keep up with all I have to do as it is, but oh, I’m going to keep my eyes peeled for this kinda candy in the future! He also played for the French U21 team in 2010. He just turned 21 so maybe we’ll see him on the senior side with Karim soon. I would most certainly enjoy that!
